It’s always time to talk day.

Many voices together, however more or less famous, are stronger than one standing alone. That’s why campaigns like today’s Time to Talk Day are so important.

Run by Time to Change, the aim of Time to Talk Day is to get as many people as possible across England talking about mental health. By joining together on one day, we can break the silence that often surrounds mental health, and show that talking about this once-taboo issue doesn’t need to be difficult.

Now, all of that’s great. Of course it is, as someone who struggles with my own mental health I support Time to Talk Day wholeheartedly. For me, though, can’t help but wonder why we choose just to focus on one day?

If we want to break this taboo, tackle this stigma, then we need to talk about mental health all the time. One day is not enough. Every day is time to talk day. Every single day. The more voices there are, however big or small, standing together, being positive about mental health, the sooner we can change the world for the better.
