Vlog: LGBT Foundation Befriending Scheme pt. 1

About two months ago, my therapist Tom, who is helping me with my depression and anxiety, suggested that I get in touch with an organisation called the LGBT Foundation in Manchester (lgbt.foundation). After meeting with them and seeing everything that they had to offer, I’ve signed up to take part in their Befriending Scheme. This video blog is the first in what will be a series showing what I get up to on the scheme and how, hopefully, it benefits me.

    1. Sorry I’ve not replied sooner – I’ve only just checked the comments on here. It took me a long time and a lot of effort to get any support for myself and to find out about the befriending scheme. All I can say is keep trying and eventually you’ll find someone who can help you. I know that it can be really, really hard to do that but you will get there eventually.

Although I doubt you’d be able to get it for free in Norway, the online Cognitive Behavioural Therapy available from http://www.beatingtheblues.co.uk/patients/ is apparently very good. And there’s lots of free self-help resources at http://www.getselfhelp.co.uk/selfhelp.htm if they’re any use to you.

I wish you well, and I’m always here there’s anything I can do or if you just want someone to talk to.
